I know...I'm probably boring the patooties out of readers that aren't into fermenting things, but I came across another fermented drink that looks interesting: Kvass. It's a fizzy drink that uses fermented grains, or starches as it's fermenting source...kind of like beer, but non-alcoholic. Like Ginger Bug, Kombucha and Water Kefir, you can add fruits and other flavorings to change the flavor profile. It tastes more like soda pop than beer. Here's a recipe for Sweet Potato Kvass:
