:D Don't know if it will help. but I made a medallion center by taking a regular 12 inch quilt block that I really liked and just doubled the size...if a square componnent is 2", I made it 4". This can be done very easily on graph paper and with some of the componnents larger, you can get a little fancier with fabric choice...also, adding an inner border can enhance a simpler block design....hope this helps.
