I still eat whole grain bread, baked sweet potato (I can eat that plain, no butter or brown sugar needed and I usually eat just half of it.) I just keep trying to keep my protein up and add in the veggies....usually at least double the veggies. I also add in nuts and sunflower seeds to things when I can. I use plain yogurt but add my own sunflower seeds and blueberries. These changes have helped my blood sugar....but still am finding it hard to lose the weight.
