To help get me through the munchies, I have always found I need protein.
Can be the traditionals of meat, cheese, yogurt, etc. ...... or nuts.
But like you said, nuts aren't that unhealthy, but oh so high on the calories.
Too, can we ever stop at one? let alone a few?
That's where they become a problem.
One that has worked for me is Roasted Chic Peas. Do them much the same as you did the brussels sprouts. Maybe even as a mixture? At the least, they could be done in the same oven, and have them ready for when the urge strikes!
