I'll bet you've got it all figured out, now - the directions make it seem more complicated than it is, I think. And who can concentrate with grandbabies around to fuss over? 🥰
I just finished my first feathered star last month - it was the last piece in a quilt that had been sitting here for years in pieces, waiting for me to tackle that center. It was a BOM Block Party series with Eleanor Burns that turned into the book, "All Star Quilts."
I kept a photo album of the process on flickr - Triangulations figures heavily into those pictures, HSTs and QSTs! 😄 Triangulations and starch - man, I starched every scrap into submission on that quilt!

I didn't get pictures of the final assembly and feathered star, but I'll probably take a lot of pictures when it's quilted.
