Default I marked and quilted.... now to wash those marks out!

I did a sample quilting piece to see if the washable Crayola markers would come out and they did, YEAH! But, now the actual quilt is done and it's a queen size. So, I feel like there needs to be lots of soap and water to get those marks out. My washer is a standard size washer. I'm not sure there would be enough sloshing around to remove marks. What do you all think?

I thought maybe I should go to the laundramat and use one of those huge washers. The hubby is a little nervous about that. You don't know what the last wash load contained and would something wash onto my quilt?

Should I do a load of white wash to make sure the washer is okay to use and then wash the quilt? This is a special quilt for my grandson and his new wife.... a wedding quilt that they picked out.

Here's a couple of pictures of the quilt before I got it quilted.
