Thanks again, everyone! I thought I'd share what I finally did. I made a flange border to have a little pop in a black border., and I put it on a little differently, such that it's a lot wider in front than on the back. I'm really happy with how it turned out. Two pics, one of which shows detail of the binding and backing.
