I have the majority of my several thousand yards of fabric stored by color. There are a few exceptions however. A. Batiks are separate and then by color. B. My 1930 repos are separate and fill a good part of one shelf. C. There are small pieces that are less than a yard. I am now organizing those pieces on comic book boards. Scrap bins are filled with scraps for scrappy quilts. I make a lot of scrappy quilts. F. what is cut off when making cuts. I don't throw away anything. cut always are put in a bag for another quilter who makes dog bed with these little scraps So nothing is in the trash except for what is cut when squaring up a block.
