I made one years ago, it came out well, a landscape type print, backing, I think I used flannel batting. I quilted around the design. I put eyelet button holes in a top band, used a separate plastic liner that could easily be changed.
When we moved it didn’t work well in new bathroom so I turned it into a large tote for portable small table & cutting mat for Stitch Camp.
