I was taught how to do needle-turn appliqué using freezer paper way back in 1989 when I took my first year-long Baltimore appliqué class. And that’s pretty much the only way I still do it - I love it!!!! You did a beautiful job and for your first try,too. A small block can be a real challenge so I’m glad you decided to make a bigger (and I do mean bigger) block. Personally, I think needle-turn appliqué is totally addictive.
