So much fun hearing from everyone. Love seeing Kristijoy’s baskets and jmoore’s version of Perfect Union and Railroadersbrat’s spiffy restored dressmaker sewing machine.
I got about 2/3 of the quilting done on the big art piece. Hope to finish the preliminary quilting on it today and then it goes back into the painting studio for some “gilding the lily” painting before being sandwiched with another layer of batting and a backing for the final quilting. I also want to get more of the QST blocks completed for my April Debbie Brown quilt- I’m trying to stay on top of completing these quilts from start to finish each month as they are quick, easy, use up lots of scraps and provide me with a steady supply of pieced tops to use when trying out new quilting designs.
