That's how I was doing it too - and sometimes turning things the wrong way in the process so having to remove those stitches (thanks RA brain fog for messing up my spatials! lol)

Someone said to do a 'ghetto stitch' which is take 2 stitches, pull up the needle, move the fabric so the needle fits in the first hole again, and continue stitching. That way is much much easier! And you don't have to flip the fabric every which way from Sunday.
