The Finger Lakes sound so inviting! The closest I've been to there is East Aurora/Buffalo. I don't think that I've ever tried any NY wines. I'll have to put those on my list. Thanks for the tips. I would imagine that all of those beautiful, white wines from the Alsace region would grow very well in your area.

I hear ya about spending money on wine. I don't drink as much wine as I used to. My dau brings it over occasionally, so I don't buy it much anymore. Plus, my body just can't handle too much wine at once. It sucks getting old.
