So glad you are enjoying and really hope you enjoy the book. I found the series a few months ago and just finished book...6 I think that just came out and have the next preordered. The long white stuff is thread sock, you just cut a piece to fit your spool and slip it around it, and then the little plastic circles click around your bobbins!
