I can't wrap my head around how this is put together to do it correctly without having to rip it all out again. Maybe not enough coffee yet this morning? Figure that someone on the board would know this pattern and tell me where to find it. Either a paper pattern or book is fine with me, I really want to make a scrappy one.

Well shoot, guess I've done something wrong. It should be a picture of a hexagon with triangle points connected to each hexi side. Hope that someone knows my addled brain enough to figure out what I mean.
