I'm wondering if the type of "
clamp motion clamp washer" that yours has is like many Singers. If so, I believe that there are at least
four ways that it can be installed, only one of which is correct. I wonder if it was installed in one of the other ways.

I have found that only the big red "Reply" button or "Quote" work to give me the paper clip icon to work for adding pictures.
