I have a Sailrite LSZ-1 - version 2 (so far - until I upgrade the appropriate parts to version 3 I guess). It's in this video review I did of a sewing light if you want to see:

I think if you're planning on sewing anything heavier than 2 layers of webbing - you'd be better off looking at the above recommended Consew (maybe a 206?) or a Juki with a walking foot. The industrial machines are both strong and elegant in how they sew. The Sailrite is good because it's both fairly capable and portable - and if you want to whip your machine out of the basement and use it for a while, then put it away - Sailrite is sort of your only choice (yes there are quite a few clone companies, but for me, I wanted the upgraded parts inside the Sailrite so if that's important to you you're probably not buying a clone...). As far as my Juki goes - not fun having a 250 pound sewing station in my house - but it sure sews amazingly....
