Terial magic is not a starch as such. It's more of a stiffener/stabilizer. It was designed for making fabric flowers and craft. I have used it on fabric flowers, then you spray them with a poly clear coat. I never thought about running it through my scan n cut machine for quilt fabric. Just did and it worked great, now to see if will wash out.
