Identifying an old Quilt
Can someone help me figure out- I can faintly see on the back a print that looks like Dunlop. I’m not sure if this name is correct. I can only see what looks like 3 of the letters, so I filled in rest to what I think it might say. It was given to me by family who got it from some dear friends. I was told that the back of quilt was dyed with walnut hulls. I’m not sure about any of that. I was hoping someone on this forum could help me find out if this name sounds familiar. Did people use to use this type of fabric for quilting. I’m trying to figure out a date when it may have been made. Thanks
