That's so interesting. I have been having trouble with my Juki2010q because of the stitch plate. I think I have bent the needle bar and the needle isn't centered anymore. When I try to free motion, it hits the stitch plate and makes an awful complaining sound. It stitches and walking foot fine. I am going to look for a different needle plate to see if I can switch it out. Thank you. A different problem but a similar solution in reverse.
