The dealer here says the Husqvarna Viking is the best machine made. The repair dept is full and long wait time. That makes me think not so best after all. The dealer has a nice quilt shop so I'm in there quiet frequently. Just won't buy a machine from them.
My Viking D1 hit the dust after 20 years of hard service. Not bad for a computerized machine I would say. So far the Viking Topaz 40 I purchased as a replacement as I had so many feet for it, seems really nice. Time will tell. Easier to work with then the D1 and does more.
