I heard from a friend down in Florida that her Designer 1 machine would not be able to be repaired any more due to parts not available. I traded mine in a couple years ago for the EPIC. Went back later to buy it back for a backup and was told the screen went out on it but I'd never had any issues with it before I took it in. GO FIGUIRE!!!!! Loved that machine too.
