I don't remember what the hand wheel looks like on that machine. Have you been able to take it off from the machine? Have you tried kerosene (lamp oil) or Tri-Flow oil?

I have found that only the big red "Reply" button or "Quote" work to give me the paper clip icon to work for adding pictures.
