Default First Picture Post-Hope this works!

Happy Saturday!
I am currently working on 4 (yes, 4, lol) different applique patterns. Three of them are Baltimore Album quilts. I am going through The Cotton Patch Quilt Shoppe where they "kit out" the patterns for you. I don't have a lot of stash (I've quilted mostly kits over the years and until my son moved out a few years ago I didn't have a craft room and just recently picked quilting back up again) so I like the BOMs. It also seems less overwhelming to me. This is the block I just finished from this pattern. It's not the FIRST block I finished, that one (and another one-ugh) I messed up because I wasn't doing my corners correctly so I started over. UGH! But, it's better to do it the correct way and have it turn out okay in the end. So, the three quilts are Spring, Fall and Christmas. They also have a patriotic one and a Halloween (and a Texas one if you're from there and interested) one I'd like to do. My goal is to have a place to hang one up and rotate for the seasons. I am using the Appliquick system of applique. It was a light stabilizer you iron to the fabric and then use fabric glue sticks and their turner tools to turn the fabric edges over, then when it's dried you hand sew onto your background fabric. Very tedious, especially the teeny tiny pieces in these quilts. I'm not sure why this appeals to me. Lol. I prefer more handwork I can do sitting down in a recliner with the tv on then sitting at the machine. I guess I'm weird. I did cross stitch for years until I gave everyone something (and then some!) and I could tell they were done with that-lol.
Well, this has been a very long post-sorry! I will post more pics soon.
Blessings,
Shannon M
