Hi everybody! I would like to know the best and easiest way to square up FG units. I make them but some just don't want to square up right. One side will be a little short or something and I can't figure that out either. Got any clues? I was told that being on the bias that I was probably stretching them as I sewed, so I've made sure Not do that but it's still happening.

Plus, I don't even really know which long edge to square up first. I usually put the point down first. I'm getting really disgusted with them at this point. I need them for my Field of Diamonds and some have to be re-sewn.

If anyone could give me some tips, hints, pointers, lessons,.....
or even do a tutorial, I would surely appreciate it. It would really limit the patterns that I could use if I have to give them up! :P I'm sure that with all you great quilter's out there, somebody knows how to fix my problem. Oh, by the way, I do the FG units with half squares for the corners, not the full squares that you cut off later, although that may change!

Thanks for any help I can get.
