Yesterday I made some progress on getting my blocks snowballed. Got all 144 3” squares cut and marked. Squared up 11 of the 16 patches, snowballed them, and did the final square up. I also stitched the leftover triangles together. 25 more 16 patches left to snowball and 4 sets of leftover triangles from each to stitch together. I also got the strips cut to make the sashing and decided on fabric for the cornerstones in the sashing. Shopped my stash and found some fabric that will do nicely for borders, if there is enough of it (fingers crossed).
It’s going to be a scorcher here today with highs in the 90s and feels like temps over 100, so a good day to stay inside in the ac.
