Quliter7x,
Cutting does take some getting used to. I turn my piece over if I'm getting confused. Since the pieces are not always symmetrical, I was cutting backwards. Also, I increased the size of my pieces and trim after it's in place. THAT saves a lot of time. Once you get the hang of it (and I'm new to pp also) it's second nature for the most part. Occasionally I still cut backwards and laugh about it as long as I have more fabric to re-cut. =)
