If you receive a refund from the company that sent the package, that's about all you can ask for. The sending company is chosing the shipping company so it is for them to follow up.
I agree. As long as you get a refund then I wouldn't worry about it. If the company has to make enough refunds, they may change carriers. Loss of business will be their consequence.
