Like grannie cheechee, I don't mind cooking, I just get tired of trying to decide what to have. My hubby will eat anything I fix or suggest too, so satisfying him is easy. One day a while back when I couldn't get a suggestion from hubby, as a joke, I made up a menu with 9 different choices as well as diner's choice and cook's choice options and let my husband decide what we should have. I only included things with ingredients I knew I had on hand at the time, and made the notation that things like pot roast or pork loin would require at least 5 hours notice. It worked well and we had a big laugh over it. Since then, I've done a menu a few times. I might add that if I cook, hubby does the dishes and if he cooks, I do them. Of course, if he chooses to eat take out, that's ok too! haha Altho we never did it very often, we still aren't comfortable eating out at crowded sit-down restaurants.
