Here is one that was totally new for me. I found an English Paper Piecing pattern for a Michigan State Star and decided it was time to try to do English Paper Piecing. I started it July 4th weekend. I kept checking it for size and it was perfectly 12.5" until I pulled the papers out and remeasured so ultimately I had to add a tiny border to make sure it was the perfect 12.5" block.
