Default Quilts for the animal shelter

I made a couple dozen small quilts for the animal shelter, half each for dogs and cats. Nine of the dog quilts, 30 x 36, are of old jeans, constructed with the method that leaves no bulky seams. Most of the battings are pieced, and backings are heavy weight flannel. The high loft batting has been here so long I don't even remember buying it or using it, and was having trouble wrapping the binding around smoothly until I remembered a tip, probably from someone on this board, to enclose the thick raw edges with a wide zigzag.

The cat quilts, which I think are folded to fit in the cages, are smaller, 24 x 30, and regular cotton.

As usual, I can't tell that my stash got any smaller, but at least the big pile of cut up jeans is gone. Yay!
