I'm not into industrial machines, so not much help. According to http://ismacs.net/singer_sewing_mach...sses-1-99.html it is a high speed industrial machine with a rotary hook.

I also noted that it uses a 88x1 needle. Since it is a round shank needle, it can be fiddly to place properly. From my understanding if it is a little off, it can cause problems. I think I used a Kenmore needle threader to insert the needle in my Junker and Ruh machine.
