What do you use feed sacks for?
I used most of the feed sacks I'd been saving for backing on the vintage quilts I quilted for DH's cousin. She found 2 suitcases full of feed sack material and gave them to me. Some are full sacks. Some are pieces cut down to smaller sizes. I assume the person saving these was going to use them for the white pieces in her quilts. These were packed into those suitcases at least 50 years ago.
But, now that I've gotten them, washed them and folded them, do you have any ideas for me? Other than backings for old quilt tops, what would you do with them?
