Hi everyone, sorry I've been away for a while. We just have two covid scares back to back. Poor baby girl had to take two tests, both turned out to be negative, but it was enough to lose some sleep. The waiting between test and result is awful while attending to a sick child. So far, she has missed almost two weeks of school. She is much better now and we are just waiting for her to be symptom free for 24hrs before returning to school.
I try no to think too much about the politics of vaccines. The only thing I know is with vaccines, my chance of getting sick is lower and if I do get sick, my chance of going home to my baby is high. I watched news about these unvaccinated parents who died of Covid and left behind young children makes my heart ache. Then I see these vaccinated and unvaccinated parents being so careless about protecting their own children. It angers me how they put my child at risk.
