Welcome to the board from Illinois. I'm sure some of the folks on here will have a good embroidery answer for you. I've seen some great baby quilts with colorful animals on them, so the same issue must have came up.
I know you will enjoy the board and learn so much you will need to live to be 150 to get all the quilts in your head finished!
