I will suggest ripping an old sheet into 2” or 3” strips top to bottom. When boxes are packed lay a strip across the box, bring to underside, cross underneath and come up to the top again on the opposite ends. Tie in a knot & cut off excess. All 4 sides of box are securely anchored closed. The sheet makes a handle & you can carry one box in each hand.
