Storm at Sea was my first official quilt
Made as a wedding gift for son and DIL.
While it was being hand quilted - not by me - I was told the points were perfect. Granted it was larger than regular (18" blocks as I recall) but I thought it was fun to make. I'd sewn for years and found my skills transferred well.
DH drilled tiny holes in my templates to mark the intersections for the points. I pinned carefully. It worked.
