Default Thank you for welcome, retry on image

Not truly new to board, thank you for welcome back, couldn't log into account from 2013 "Mary&me". Gave the General to my niece, she adores it.

I retrieved the Grand from my grandma's house, it had been her mother in law's machine, grandma is 94 this year.

The mini was missing the clamp, I was able to find some examples online, essentially a "C" clamp made from a round bar, I made one, but the machine would walk out of it. So I cut down a 3 way clamp from Harbor freight, and threaded the hole to match.

The button holer for the Grand was not as easy, but I wanted one. I found one for a Westinghouse machine, but the foot on the Grand is much shorter (just fit with the foot up, no clearance for work piece). The bar is als wider on the Grand, so I ground out the difference on the attachment and pressed the spring holding the holers foot flat. It works great, but tight to get material under (about 1/8” with foot up).
