Always learning
One of the reasons I like to do bountyhunters( auto correct, so funny I decided to leave it!) mysteries is learning new techniques. I used to think using the dies from AccuQuilt was cheating but now I realize this mystery is helping me to discover new ways to use the dies. For example I have used a half square triangle die to make the corners for these flying geese. I had thought I would cut squares and do the sew and flip method. It turns out using the dye that automatically cuts the pieces into half square triangles works better because it adds a seam that gives you that extra quarter inch. So I guess in a way she is helping me learn a new method even using the dies! Hopefully will get everything cut today and so up a storm tomorrow.
