Thanks for the clarification, Barb. I was thinking since it was blue that it may have had what is called a ferrule that screws together or was hollow and had a barb piece to connect. Was the blue one a faux leather or plastic? I would think that the "C" shaped one (which I have called a staple) would pull out of plastic.
