Welcome to QB, KRW. As far as value or worth of a machine, that is a very subjective topic. A good thread about vintage machine worth can be found at "How Much Is My Machine Worth?" Question Answered

I have a manual for a 101-3 but it is parts and is huge, but not sure where I found it. There is a manual for a 101 at https://res.cloudinary.com/singer-se...g_Machines.pdf and it shows some oiling points on page 30 of that pdf. There is a manual at https://www.sil.si.edu/DigitalCollec.../NMAHTEX/2682/ and has oiling instructions for the nose area specifically at https://www.sil.si.edu/DigitalCollec...es/image23.htm
