I wonder how many of us have NOT done this. I was baking something a couple of weeks ago and in the recipe it even told the user to not turn the mixer on high because the dry ingredients will create flour dust all over your kitchen. Guess someone learned by experience.
But you were prepared with those bleach wipes sitting in the ready to clean up your work area!. One must look on the bright side in times of flour explosions.
