I love the bold primary colors for a baby quilt, as oppposed to the once traditional pastels. That's what I used for me grand daughter's quilt and it didn't take long before we noticed her "studying" all the different colors. My daughter mas a master's degree in teaching and teaches Special Ed; She said that the bold colors were visually stimulating for even the youngest of infants.
