Default Peacock Abstraction

I finished piecing this last January, and it hung on my design wall for months. Just had no inspiration for how to quilt it. Finally, a few weeks ago, I put it on my longarm and got to quilting. I used wool batting, and I really like the "poof" and definition that I got.

I had planned all along to add some rhinestones/crystals, although I had never done that before. I bought a hot-fix tool and a box of 12 colored rhinestones of various sizes (ain't the internet wonderful?) and took my first steps into bedazzling. They don't show up very well in the photos, but look pretty neat in the right light.

So glad this one's finally done!

The pattern is from Violet Craft, named Peacock Abstraction.
