Well, we are in an "elite" club, so to speak. I had just had my nails done (a real treat) and was sewing on a quilt. That needle went right into my index fingernail and all the way through, breaking the needle. Reversed the whole thing and pulled the needle out. THIS one hurt!

Did the same thing years ago (about 40) with my thumb. Watched that needle go right through the tip and sat there dumbfounded. "Now what do I do?" Same thing = turned the wheel and pulled it out. This one, unbelievably, did not hurt at all.

Don't plan on doing this again. Twice in 40 years is enough.
