Thanks for the help. I think I have it. It's really paper piecing with a foundation fabric instead of paper, right? I have some extremely flimsy cotton that's been in the stash for years. (Probably from my garment sewing days.) And naturally a bin of scraps. I can't wait to try this out. Please let me know if my pp assumption is wrong! It should make a nice change. I normally hand piece using Jinny Beyer's dot-to-dot method where wonky stitches are apt to show. Sounds much more relaxing.
