Wow, such lovely finished tops and creative changes to the patterns.
Well I got distracted with life and have only been sewing a very little each day for the last 2 weeks. I have part 1 & 2 completed and squared. Part 3 is 1/4 done and part 4 is 1/2 way done. Hopefully I will have the parts 3-5 done by Friday. Then I can start putting the top together. I have decided to cut my sashing pieces (aqua) 1.5” from one of my aqua pieces and cut the other aqua border at 2.5”. Then just make extra FG pieces to do the border like in the pattern. I do plan to add an extra border to enlarge the top to as close as I can get to 90’ by 110-120”.
if I remember correctly, I forgot to print out a part or 2 from 2017 pattern, when I went to use the new printed pattern, I found it confusing It was the processs of figuring where I was in the project verses where to start on the new bought pattern. The directions were not written the same. That year’s project is currently a UFO. Later this year or next I plan to go back and complete.
