Thanks for all your thoughtful responses. Weezie and littlehud you are right in your thinking. I have a gazillion different feet. They all work great. There is no needle adjustment on this machine so it is what it is. The last quilt I made on it was around the world so I guess all the squares were off by just that little and on that pattern it didn't matter. I am curious about the gizmo that has wide feed dogs that go over the ones on the machine. Will check that out.
