Actually its called the Serenity Prayer. I know it helps a lot of people when they feel down and powerless.

Also, if you're 51 it could be related to menopause...I started through it at 46 an finished at 52. I had some really bad depression for about 6 months, and my life situation at the time made it worse. I went to my GYN and she gave me a really mild antidepressant and recommended an herbal estrogen replacement, and I felt a lot better in just a few days.

Best of luck, and you'll be in my prayers. Take care of yourself. Janice
Thanks, after I posted it, it occured to me it was the serenity prayer. About 1 year ago the menopause really bit me bad. I would cry if a bug hit my window. Had the same felings as you do but it too passed. Befoe you go to antidrepressants try Black Cohash Complex. They sell it at Walmart. Two pills a day-1 daytime, 1 nitetime. Has done wonders for me. I call antidrepressants antibitch pills because they just let people run all over me. Not that they haven't helped other people because some couldn't have made it with out my sister included. Try this 1st. Hugs Deb
