I am most likely going to get a Kenmore machine today at Sears, I heard they are made by Bernina, so they are very comparable. I am looking at getting this one:

I'd love to hear any opinions on it if anyone has one. My current machine (a Singer, bought 3 years ago) is literally taped together since I have dropped it one too many times, so anything is a step up right now. My price range is about $300, so this seems like the best choice out there for that price. I am really looking forward to the needle down feature on it mostly!!!
